It is a major fair for foundry Technology, Machinery and Products Trade. The market for the fair is especially Turkey, Middle East and Russia.

Parallel to this event at the same location was the ANNOFER 2010 - 9th International Non-Ferrous Metals Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair.

ANKIROS was quite well visited, although an important turkish holiday reduced the amount of turkish visitors considerably. The turkish agents of foreign foundry machinery producers and other foreign foundry suppliers were very satisfied in contrary to many german suppliers who had wished a little better frequency. Many visitors besides the turkich were from Germany, Iran, Iraq and Russia as they are neighbor states respectively important export and import partners of Turkey.

Two years ago the ANKIROS 2008 had 786 exhibitors: 314 local and 472 international from 38 countries. The fair in 2008 had 14,058 visitors from 49 different countries. The exhibitions again proved that this is the leading business platform of the Eurasian metallurgy industry.
