EuroMold 2010: Second After Show Report
Schweiger wins EuroMold AWARD 2010
Innovative PIT process for hollow parts production:
The winner of the EuroMold golden Award 2010 is the Schweiger GmbH & Co. KG. The enterprise specialised in Moldmaking and Tooling impressed the judges with innovative PIT process for production of hollow parts such cooling water pipes. The process does not only allow enormous savings of raw materials but also reduces the cycle time.
At the award ceremony on Thursday, December 2nd, 2010, during the EuroMold exhibitors party Helmut Diebold GmbH & Co. KG were awarded with silver EuroMold award for the “JetSleeve” product. This product extends the lifespan of a cutting tool by at least 100 percent, where the lubricant nozzle is bolted without retooling at the shrink-fit.
The EuroMold bronze Award went to Röhm GmbH for their electrical clamping head. This innovation allows the careful use of electric energy and forms an important section on the way to the hydraulic-free machine.
EuroMold AWARD is awarded annually for innovative and pioneering products and services and is one of the most important awards in the field of product development. The Award winners, but also the many other participants underlined the high level of innovation at EuroMold.
