Pietro Borgo joins Executive Board of Rheinmetall Defence
He takes over chairmanship of the Executive Board of Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles
Effective 1 February 2012, Pietro Borgo takes over chairmanship of the Executive Board of Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) in Munich, and will simultaneously serve on the Executive Board of Rheinmetall Defence.
Since 2006, Pietro Borgo had been general manager of Iveco Defence Vehicles of Bolzano, Italy. He was also a member of the Executive Board of IVECO Magirus AG, headquartered in Ulm, Germany. He succeeds Klaus Sander, who will retire at the end of the year. Until then, Klaus Sander will support the company in an advisory capacity.
Mr Borgo studied at the University of Padua and has a degree in Electrical engineering. After graduating he joined the IVECO Group where he held various management posts.
