ConviTec – The Efficiency of Sand Preparation.

ConviTec provides complete solutions for all industrial and processing requirements of vibrating machine and special machine engineering all over the world. Our core responsibilities are planning, manufacture, assembly and commissioning of conveyor, screening, cooling, drying, dosing systems as well as control systems for handling of various bulk materials and piece goods.
 
Very successful with Shake-out feeder „Vario“
 
“Vario” shake-out feeders are particularly suitable for shaking out of sensitive castings and for a broad casting program with small to big castings. These shake-out feeders work in the rotational speed range from 1,000 to 1,500 rpm respectively frequency 16-25 hertz and with an acceleration of 4.5 to 5.0-times of gravity. Depending on the casting program, various grids are used. The width of Shake-out feeder varies from 800 to 3,000 mm and the length from 4,500 (+500) to 7,500 (+500) mm. That state-of-the-art technology is used at Germany. The project includes replacement of old shake-out feeder and subsequently to decrease the temperature of used sand. We have implemented two shake-out feeders “Vario”, driven by four electronically synchronized exciter cells with our advanced control system. The shake-out feeders are equipped with sound-proof elements to reduce noise emission.
 
Very successful with humidifying process
 
A typical case of application of humidifying process exists where the hot used sand is running below shake-out process. For reduction of temperature of used sand we apply a spraying system for water. The humidifying process by ConviTec will managed by an advanced control system. In this way customer save running costs and maintenance charges, otherwise they have to use hot resistant conveyor belts. Therefore our customers are able to use standard belt conveyor. During transportation used sand can cooling down and regenerate possibly. The most important effect through application of humidifying process results of growing the efficiency of sand preparation plant.
