KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) was visited by a delegation from one of the world's leading producers of lifting equipment – PALFINGER AG, the concern with which the auto giant coordinates the activity of two joint ventures.
CEO of PALFINGER AG Herbert Ortner, COO of PALFINGER AG Martin Zehnder, and the company's other top managers have arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny with a working visit. Besdies, the delegation includes representatives of joint ventures established by KAMAZ PTC and the Austrian concern in 2014 – Ivelin Stanchev, General Director of PALFINGER KAMA CYLINDERS OOO, Sergey Ivanov, General Director of CRANE center KAMAZ LLC, and other specialists .
The guests visited KAMAZ's subsidiary in Bashkortostan – NEFAZ PTC where they got acquainted with a new shop for production of electric buses and trolley buses on KAMAZ chassis, visited bus and trailer production shops. In addition, the specialists visited PALFINGER KAMA CYLINDERS JV in the same city of Nizhnekamsk. Another joint enterprise which welcomed the delegation – CRANE center KAMAZ LLC – is located in Naberezhnye Chelny.
The work program ended with negotiations on cooperation prospects with the participation of KAMAZ's head Sergey Kogogin. The Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Joint Ventures was also held in the course of the business meeting. The shareholders summed up the performance of PALFINGER KAMA CYLINDERS OOO and CRANE center KAMAZ LLC in 2016 and announced plans for the current year.
