EUROGUSS on course for growth

Reading time: min
  • Die casting trade fair to occupy additional hall in 2016
  • Fair’s advisory board expanded by two members

The fair preparations for EUROGUSS 2016 have only just recently begun. But even now the indications are that the next EUROGUSS (12.-14.1.2016) will register a marked increase in exhibitors. Around 550 exhibitors (2014: 470) and approx. 12,000 trade visitors are expected. In order to offer all exhibitors sufficient space for their fair stands, an additional exhibition hall is to be opened. In future the previous exhibition Halls 7 and 7A will be joined by Hall 6, which rounds off the event’s locations via the Congress Centre NCC Ost.

“We are delighted with the great involvement on the exhibitors’ side, especially with the many enquiries from abroad”, said Heike Slotta, Director Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. “Italy will once again be very strongly represented at the fair, but companies from Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Spain and France have also already registered.”

Unique in Europe

In just 20 years, EUROGUSS has developed from a small trade exhibition opening with 93 exhibitors and 2,600 visitors to the number one trade fair in Europe. In the die castings trade world everyone knows the event and appreciates it, because at EUROGUSS there is only one focal point: The die castings theme in all its facets. The product range extends from raw materials through to technology and machinery up to the finished product. At EUROGUSS the entire “die castings family” comes together: die casting foundries, companies, research institutes, associations and publishing houses. The trade visitors come from the vehicle-construction sector and automotive system supplier industry, plant and engineering, the electrical and electronics industry, furniture industry, energy technology, medical technology and die making sectors. For three days at the fair and in the supporting trade event, the International Die Casting Congress, there will be intensive information and discussions.
