The world’s leading automotive supplier Faurecia has been certified by the independent Top Employers Institute for its outstanding human resources management. With the award “Top Employer in Germany 2017,” the company is one of the best employers in the country. According to the jury, Faurecia is a pioneer in human resources. Most notably, the company emphasizes future-oriented thinking with regard to its employees, continuously optimizes the work environment and constantly invests in employee development. This enables the company to grow and develop.

After certifications in previous years, the automotive supplier has now won the coveted seal of quality for the seventh time. The absolute top rating from the Top Employers Institute illustrates the company’s successful commitment. For example, Faurecia distinguished itself among employers in 2016 with its employee orientation and excellent working conditions.

Steffen Neefe, Country Manager for the German-speaking DACH region at Top Employers Institute, explains: “Optimal employee conditions contribute to personal development in both private as well as professional life. Our detailed investigation has shown that Faurecia Automotive GmbH has created an outstanding staff environment and offers a broad spectrum of creative initiatives. These range from secondary advantages and working conditions to performance management, which is fully in line with its company culture.”

“We are very pleased with this certification and the associated distinction it brings our company,” says Andreas Marti, Managing Director of Human Resources and Labor Director of Faurecia Automotive GmbH. “As an international automotive supplier with a focus on innovation, we are always striving to evolve. Promoting our employees is at the forefront of our commitment. At the same time, we are looking for new creative minds. Faurecia offers exciting tasks, a dynamic environment and personal freedom.”

The annual survey of the Top Employers Institute analyzes the world’s leading employers. All participating companies are subject to a uniform validation process and must meet defined requirements. Answers and supporting documents are finally submitted to an independent body and examined in detail. The categories of talent strategy, personnel planning, training and development, performance management, career planning, corporate culture as well as compensation and benefits are assessed.

In Germany, Faurecia employs approximately 7,000 people at more than 30 locations (production, customer offices, research and development), including 7 research sites for research, design and development (as of December 31, 2016). German automakers account for around one third of the worldwide sales of the Faurecia Group. With the award “Top Employer in Germany 2017,” Faurecia offers applicants an orientation aid and an attractive basis for decision-making in the selection of a future employer.

Faurecia also attaches great importance to the promotion of young talent and offers a wide range of training opportunities. In Germany, around 200 young people are in training with the automotive supplier (as of December 31, 2016). In addition, the company offers dual courses of study in cooperation with various universities.
