Together with more than 180 customers from around Europe, Langendorf Textil celebrated its 100th corporate anniversary at its headquarter in Marktrodach, Germany on June 20th 2008. The preparation of this major event, however, already started more than six months prior to the festivities.

For this festive evening, a noble marquee has especially been put up on the factory premises in Marktrodach. But before presenter Mrs. Katja Wunderlich cordially welcome all guests, almost everyone used the opportunity to attend a guided factory tour. In a relaxed atmosphere, excellent cuisine, prepared by Werner Hühnlein, interviews on the corporate strategy, excellent ambient music performed by “Headline”, and dancing performances by the group “Magic Dance”, were accompanying each other.
The highlight of the evening, however, was a fashion show which was especially developed for this event. Langendorf Textil asked students of the course textile design of University of Applied Science Hof-Münchberg to develop a fashion line made of its technical textile products. Hence, LANGO®flex foundry, which is normally used as flexible no-bake core and mold venting sleeve, could be found in a graceful wedding dress, or LANGO®shield, which usually provides effective heat protection, was transformed into a mini-train.
The bar, which has been opened after completion of the official program, was only cleared in the early morning hours.
