CASTING TECHNOLOGY by ITALPRESSE and GAUSS

ITALPRESSE
Founded in 1969, EN ISO 9001:2008.
Since its establishment Italpresse has produced high pressure hydraulic machines and automatic work cells for die casting process of light alloys.

Italpresse operates worldwide with over 3500 installations and prestigious references, it has maintained its ongoing technological leadership since the 1970s with the introduction of foundry automation and since 2005 with the development of the 2 platen machine.

The manufacturing facilities of Capriano del Colle (Brescia), Italy, cover an area of 20,000 square metres and employees 200 people.

Mission
We build machines and automatic work cells for die casting & gravity casting for light alloys, with a constant focus on excellence, technological innovation, quality and production flexibility. We offer our customers our skills, 45 years of experience, acquired in the most advanced industries worldwide: since our establishment we have exclusively focused on light alloy die casting and gravity casting.

We offer prompt and professional service to ensure that our products always work in the best way and last over time, wherever they are.

Vision:
We want to attain an even more well established leadership position, increasing our worldwide presence, thus obtaining an even more prestigious market position. We want to become the benchmark in the foundry of light alloys for advanced applications, where innovation is crucial for the creation of cutting-edge technological solutions.

GAUSS

Gauss is one of the world leaders in the gravity casting automation.

Gauss was born in 1967 for the manufacturing of automatic system for loading aluminum from holding furnace to the shot device of high-pressure die casting machine, replacing the existing manual process.

Gauss developed its technologies and has supplied hundreds of gravity die casting cells to the world’s main foundries that often anticipate future production processes.

Today, present and active all over the world, it has installed about:

900 die casting robots, 350 gravity casting machines, 130 linear cells, 40 carousels, 350 anthropomorphic robots.

Gauss, UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certified, has scrupulously designed the entire production system which employs standardized devices and an efficient coordination between data-flow and production elements, including human resources.
