AGTOS blasting technology: always a suitable solution

AGTOS looks to everything around shot-blasting technology, including construction and production of shot-blast machines which are used to roughen, clean, derust, descale and harden work pieces. From very small chain parts up to steel structures at a size of over see containers there are hardly any limits with regard to the application and size of the units.

The specialist also offers high-quality second-hand machines. This is particularly interesting if a customer needs a blast machine at short-notice or only uses it temporarily and not in permanent operation.

Besides a wide range of spare and wear parts they are also offering maintenance, repairing and modernization works for foreign machines.

AGTOS kümmert sich um alles rund um die Schleuderrad-Strahltechnik. Dazu gehören Konstruktion und Fertigung von Schleuderrad-Strahlmaschinen zum Aufrauen, Reinigen, Entrosten, Entzundern und Verfestigen. Von der Bearbeitung von millimetergroßen Kettenteilen bis zu Stahlkonstruktionen in der Größe von Überseecontainern sind der Einsatzfähigkeit und Größe der Anlagen kaum Grenzen gesetzt.

Capital Refractories Group has been supplying refractories and technical ceramics to molten metal and heat process industries for over 60 years. Today our diverse markets include all aspects of metal melting, molten metal handling and flow control as well as power generation, nuclear and ceramic armour applications. Our business began in 1950 supplying the UK foundry industry with refractory linings for induction furnaces melting steel and iron. Since then we have developed a comprehensive portfolio of products and services for the following heat process industries:

In addition we have a wide portfolio of engineered technical ceramics including:

• Injected ceramic cores for investment casting, specialising in industrial gas turbine and aerospace
• Isopressed, vibrocast and slip cast metal oxide crucibles for ferrous and special alloys
• Vibrocast tundishes, head boxes and launders for superalloy cleaning and distribution
• Pour cups, t-pot ladles, aluminium dosing cones, swirl cones and zirconia nozzle inserts
• Gas diffusers - we pioneered the use of the permeable gas diffuser in induction furnaces to improve metal quality with over 3,000 foundries worldwide benefiting from this system
• Sialon bonded silicon carbide immersion heaters and thermocouple tubes for aluminium, kiln furniture, wear parts and ceramic armour

Dry Ice Cleaning systems

  • Aero Serie: The rugged Aero Line delivers a superior clean with the lowest cost of ownership.  The Aero Line offers superior performance and versatility with electric or all pneumatic options.

  • i³ MicroClean: The i³ MicroClean is designed to thoroughly clean intricate cavities and molds that other methods cannot reach.  The system utilizes Cold Jet patented microparticle technology, dry ice <0.1mm. The abrasive-free cleaning can be done while molds are still at curing temperature in the press which significantly reduces the cleaning time. The i³ MicroClean can also be used for final product cleanup including deflashing of surface/parting line vents and gloss leveling. No other system on the market cleans so powerfully, yet so gently with less noise as the i³ MicroClean.

At Botticino Sera, just outside Brescia, Colosio Srl have manufactured diecasting machines and accessories since 1971.

The presence of others important diecasting manufacturers in the area of Brescia has not prevent Colosio srl to rapidly became one of the leader in this field.

Well known in the diecasting world, Colosio Srl has focused its attention on the manufacturing of strong, hi-tech diecasting machines, well designed and supported by a particularly fast and effective after sales service. With over 1,800 diecasting machines in more than 40 countries, nowadays Colosio Group is one of the very few manufacturers who are able to produce the whole diecasting cell in house, perfectly integrated with all the necessary peripherals.

The mechanical works and the assembly of the machines and the accessories Colosio are made internally, thanks to the 100 workers and more than 9000 m² of the factory.

Modern equipments with numerical control (boring machines, milling machines, lathe, and so on) and the three-dimensional control of quality guarantee to the Customer products of very high quality and a fast answer of the continuous request of the market.

Every Colosio spare part, even the old pieces made 35 years ago, are at disposal in our stock , with short deliveries and competitive prices.

Our sister company Relbo, born in 1989 is specialised in the manufacturing of die sprayers and extractors and also can integrate robot (most of all Staubli).

Relbo allows Colosio to supply working islands completely automated and integrated producing an augmentation of productivity of about 25-30 %.


The machines fully integrated can be completely digital, with dies storage (COLTROL system). The control of the data and their storage and analyse on the PC allows to repeat the parameters of pressure, speed and stroke optimal for every single die (FULLCOLTROL system).

    The New Mark 5 Series Rotary Media Drum is the ultimate for sand casting separation, sand blending/conditioning, dual sand screening and casting cleaning and cooling, all in one machine. It can handle green sand, no-bake, and shell molding. It will clean aluminum, brass, bronze, ductile, gray, malleable, and steel castings. The payback/return on investment is months versus years.

    The New Rotary Lump Crusher/Sand Reclaimers have the lowest operating cost per ton in the industry worldwide. These machines reduce large no-bake lumps to grain size, scrub the sand, double screen, and classify the sand, have the best output/yield worldwide, and separate out tramp metal and debris.
