EuroMold will provide a most interesting novelty in hall 8.0: The Special Feature Show for Automation within Moldmaking and Tooling. The show will in a unique way visualize the interaction of construction and shop floor and present state-of-the-art technology on this field. With this special show EuroMold wants to show all attendees current possibilities of automation within moldmaking and tooling. Hence, EuroMold 2009 once again underlines its reputation as the platform for technology and innovation. Furthermore the show illustrates optimisation feasibilities in order to increase capacity and to save time.
Automatic process sequences provide a solution of current challenges for moldmaking and tooling. Especially in the areas of profitability, process reliability, decrease of set-up and stand still time, productivity increase and quality assurance optimisation can be realised. The show also features how to coordinate data from single processes like engineering, production, palletising, metrology, milling, erosion, purgation and administration of work pieces in order to achieve optimal fabrication speed and quality. Moreover eight machines will demonstrate the fully automatic process and the interaction of diverging technologies within one production cell. The show focuses on the affiliation between construction and shop floor. Both topics will have separate areas at the special feature show.
An automated cell will be located in the area floor shop. The area construction will comprise ‘technology islands’, individual stands with various producers within CAD/CAM, programming and clamping systems. In the production cell a handling device will be in operation with cartridges, two milling machines, two measuring machines, one washing plant and two EDM machines. The special feature show will be framed by a modern presentation programme including detailed illustrations of the technical processes and the individual links in the process chain.
