Year after year, this fair has been enjoying a steady and increasing attendance, being regarded in the foundry industry as one of the most prestigious in Europe. This year it will be the 12th time that Kielce Trade Fairs organizes the International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL.
Last year's edition of METAL was a record-breaking event in terms of the number of both exhibitors and visitors. It was attended by 330 companies from 27 countries, with almost 3,500 m² of exhibition space having been leased. Among the visitors were more than 2,700 experts and journalists accredited to the fair, representing 20 countries. This year's edition promises to be an even more impressive event.
"The fair, which a few years ago started its career with a few dozen exhibitors, mostly domestic ones, is today a European-level exhibition, well-known within the foundry industry all over the world. With every year, the METAL fair enjoys a record-breaking attendance. One of the reasons for this steady upward trend is surely the dynamic development of the foundry industry. What shows it is the new companies appearing at the fair every year. We are also an excellent platform for establishing contacts with companies from Eastern Europe. Among the regular visitors are, among others, directors of the largest foundries from Russia and Ukraine. Almost all our exhibitors emphasize that the METAL fair is impossible to be missed, if one really wants to be an important player in this branch of industry", says Mr Piotr Pawelec, METAL Project Manager.
What kind of attractions will the exhibitors prepare for this year's edition of the fair? What will certainly not be missing is state-of-the-art technology, machines and equipment. Representatives of the world's largest foundry companies will show, among other things, modern methods of designing and building foundry equipment, moulding machines and equipment, refractories and moulding materials, casting and artistic products, equipment for preparing moulding sand, foundry ceramics, pressure casting machines. National collective stands will be prepared by companies from Germany, Great Britain, and Slovenia.
Exhibitors and visitors to the METAL fair will also attend conferences and seminars – "New Technologies in the Non-ferrous Metals Industry", "The Assessment of the Polish Foundry Industry in the Context of the Global Market", "A Wider Europe".
The 12th edition of the METAL fair will be held from 27th until 29th September 2006.
