5th International Foundry Forum in Vienna

The 5 th IFF in Vienna closed with a lot of positive impressions. New and strong contacts, challenges, solutions and prospects in an tense situation of economy.

Basically the branch is realistic and optimistic if it´s possible to surrender the increasing changes efficiently. Further there´s high potential in China, India and Brazil. Russia is opening it´s own perspectives, while North-America is trying to catch the contraction.

The experts of the suppliers agreed on that just collective quality-scales and mainly joint solutions are good for satisfied customers, beause the branch has got good growth potential for the next ten years. The forum-members commented towards Foundry-Planet predominantly positive about the event-process.

Smooth organisation in a relaxed environment was guarantor for many inter-disciplinary conversations and new contacts. About 250 members from 26 countries, among agents from every important company except China, were looking forward to where the next IFF will take place in two years.

“Where were the Chinese?” was a frequently asked question, like the valuation that the organizer mind to keep the balance between the members, producers and companies.
