Allard Europe NV has teamed up with Inductotherm again. As their web site proclaims “a partnership for the future”.
Allard’s latest 20 million Euros expansion plans include a new 4000kW VIP Power-Trak with a nominal 16 tonne capacity Heavy Steel Shell furnace.
This increases Allard’s existing melt capacity in excess of 40 tonnes. Utilising the existing Inductotherm nominal 8 tonne and 2 tonne Steel Shell furnaces, coupled to a range of Inductotherm VIP Power Units rated at 1000kW, 2500kW and 4000kW and controlled with the latest Melt-Manager controls.
Allard is as one of the most modern steel and iron producers in Europe, producing high level quality castings for the dredging and offshore specialist industries.
The installed equipment includes load cells, meltmanager control, slag grabs, charge cars, charging, full fume extraction, lining push out; all the tools to make this an operator friendly and very efficient installation.
This is another example of the Inductotherm Heavy Steel Shell furnace becoming the tool of choice for today’s large steel producers.
