The Association of the German Die Casting Foundries “VDD”, organized the 13th International Die Casting Day 2013 in the Stadthalle Sindelfingen (near Stuttgart) in cooperation with the Association of the German Foundry Industry “BDG”.
180 participants made the event a great success.
The lectures, which dealt with current technical and economic issues affecting the sector, were also simultaneously translated into English.
Heiko Lickfett the chief economist of BDG/VDG gave detailed insights into the global facts & figures of the foundry industry and casting buyers.
A foundry suppliers exhibition with more than 20 companies accompanied the lectures.
On the eve of the 13th International Die Casting Congress a traditional foundry evening happening took place and it was sponsored by the Company Oskar Frech GmbH + Co. KG, Schorndorf.
