5 Brand New Pavilions Brings Aluminium Industry to Life at
ALUMINIUM CHINA 2010

 

In six week’s time, ALUMINIUM CHINA 2010 will open its gate to the global aluminium community for the 6th time at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 9th – 11 June, 2010. Latest figure on stand booking indicates over 90% of the 23,000sqm exhibition area in Hall W4 and W5 are already booked out pointing to a record breaking turn up.

For this very special edition, Reed Exhibitions has announced the launch of 5 new dedicated pavilions to highlight “primary aluminium”, “recycling”, “aluminium auto-Parts”, “academic bodies” and “industry associations” at the show. These 5 new pavilions will cover the latest trends and topics most relevant to the development of the China market, where low-carbon economic concept is promoted by the Chinese government.

The Primary Aluminium Pavilion this year will focus on Primary aluminium producers, relevant electrolysis equipments and accessories providers, while also engaging aluminium processing operations and energy-saving technology providers to network and discuss topics like aluminium futures market, cost reduction during electrolysis and new applications of aluminium products.

The leading Chinese society on recycling – Recycling Metal Branch of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association, a Strategic Partner of the show, has confirmed their official endorsement of the Recycling Pavilion and will host the International Aluminium Recycling Forum themed “Outlook for the next decade” on the show floor to outline the development of Chinese recycling market and present the latest technologies and its operational indicators in the form of keynote speeches.

To support the launch of Aluminium Auto-Parts Pavilion, SAE International – HK, a key regional section of the world’s leading automotive engineering community, has reached cooperation with ALUMINIUM CHINA to host the first edition of SAE Asia Congress from June 10 - 11 timed perfectly with ALUMINIUM CHINA. Under the theme of ‘Driving for Greener Lives’, the congress will focus on the cutting edge of EV technology developments as well as an in-depth exploration of the EV technology application in China. To maximize attendee’s experience and promote connectivity with the latest automotive related suppliers in the market, a tour of ALUMINIUM China 2010 will be organised as part of the congress program, rounding up a most memorable Shanghai experience.

Also in order to provide networking and educational opportunities for exhibitors of the Auto-Parts Pavilion, Reed Exhibitions will jointly organise a full-day Conference on light-weight automotive components together with China Auto-Parts & Accessories Corp. (CAPAC) on the third day of the event. A number of China leading automotive manufacturers like FAW, Dongfeng, Chang’an and Chery confirmed to deliver important sessions during the conference.

With steadily growing needs of from key aluminium consumption markets like building & construction, automotive manufacturing, electronics in China, and Shanghai’s hosting of the World Expo 2010 during the show period, ALUMINIUM CHINA 2010 have become a must-attend event for providers and purchasers alike.
