A firmly established part of the “Bright World of Metals” and long a model of success: the Messe Düsseldorf ecoMetals campaign. Sustainability, resource conservation, and energy efficiency are some of the current trends in the energy-intensive foundry and metallurgy industries and are important aspects for investments. Therefore, this year’s edition of GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS, and NEWCAST, which takes place from 25 to 29 June, will once more include the ecoMetals Trails, guided tours on the complex issues surrounding sustainability.

Visitors can choose between two different routes:
Tour 1 (daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) takes visitors to the following exhibitors at THERMPROCESS and METEC: Advanced Energy Industries GmbH, celano GmbH, Himmelwerk Hoch- und Mittelfrequenzanlagen GmbH, OTTO JUNKER GmbH, Kueppers Solutions GmbH, Lechler GmbH, LOI Thermprocess GmbH, TENOVA S.P.A., Schunk GmbH, Vulkan-Verlag GmbH and WS-Wärmeprozesstechnik GmbH.

Tour 2 (daily at 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.) covers GIFA and NEWCAST and takes visitors to ASK Chemicals GmbH, the Confederation of German Foundry Industry (BDG), Bühler AG, Didion International Inc., Hüttenes-Albertus, Oskar Frech GmbH + Co. KG, KMA Umwelttechnik GmbH, Norican Group ApS, Vesuvius GmbH, Fritz Winter Eisengießerei GmbH & Co. KG, xpuris GmbH and Zanardi Fonderie S.p.A.

Messe Düsseldorf tour guides will take participants to the individual stands. Here, experts from the respective companies will present their products and innovations.

All tours are free of charge for Bright World of Metals visitors. The meeting point for the tours is the “Metal Flow Alliance World Wide” stand at the North Entrance (stand number EN 03). Here, visitors can also register for the tours. Visitors can, of course, also register in advance (www.tbwom.de) and thus secure a place on one of the ecoMetals Trails.
