AFS Announces Setting for 113th and 114th Metalcasting Congresses

The American Foundry Society (AFS) and the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) announced the dates and locations for the 2009 and 2010 Metalcasting Congresses.

<font face="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular" size="2">Next year’s CastExpo ’08, held in conjunction with the 112th Metalcasting Congress, will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, from May 17-20, 2008. The 113th Metalcasting Congress will be held at the Paris Las Vegas from April 7-10, 2009. The 114th Metalcasting Congress will be held at the Renaissance Hotel &amp; Resorts, Schaumburg, Ill., from May 4-7, 2010. </font>

<font face="Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular" size="2">Co-sponsored by AFS and NADCA, the annual Metalcasting Congress is the largest annual gathering of metalcasters and industry suppliers in North America. In addition to the more than 200 industry suppliers exhibiting each year, attendees have the opportunity to learn about the latest technological advancements and managerial techniques during the technical sessions. Several prestigious industry awards are presented, including the Ray H. Witt and Howard F. Taylor awards, AFS division awards and Gold Medals, all given for various contributions to the metalcasting industry.</font>
