During the Amafond Congress which will take on 18th November at “Villa Fenaroli” (BS), Amafond will celebrate its 70° Anniversary.
Amafond, the italian Association of companies which produce machinery, plants, furnaces products and services for the foundry industry, was established in 1946, on the initiative of a group of important operators in this sector. In those years they started immediately after the war period to provide products and small equipment for the foundry industry.
At the achievement of its 70 years, Amafond brings together 100 of the most important companies in the sector with a turnover of 1,400 million Euros over 75% of which is exports.
The previous edition has encountered a great success with the presence of over 300 guests and operators from our sector. More over, representatives of the most important Italian foundries from all over Italy were attended.
Also this year we expect to have important figures from the political and institutional world representing the Ministry of Economic Development, Italian Trade Commission, Confindustria and the Region of Lombardy.
During the debate the title: "Seventy years of history, to continue to be leaders," we will also have interesting presentations by experts that will give us a focus on the automotive industry and on the foundry industry.
The day will end at around 19 with a gala dinner and musical entertainment.
