Once again the leading suppliers of the casting, iron and steel industry will meet in Istanbul, bridgehead between Europe and Asia and the most dynamic economic area of Eurasia.
The shows ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST have proven over the years that Istanbul is a hub for the iron and steel sector and a meeting point for the foundry industry. More than 800 exhibitors will showcase their latest machines, trends and technologies to a broad variety of international and national visitors at ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST 2012.
Besides an impressive number of individual exhibitors we especially extend our welcome to the national pavilions from Germany, Italy, China, Korea, Iran, and Spain.
Turkey’s iron and steel sector is a strong economic force with a bright outlook. Over the past 20 years, the industry saw a tremendous development and steel production increased by 17 % in 2011 reaching 34 million tons making Turkey Europe’s number 2 steel production and number 10 in the world.
Turkey’s foundry industry has been undergoing rapid development facing strong domestic and international demand. This is proven by the outstanding development of export figures, making Turkey one of the top suppliers of Europe.
Turkish foundries from all over Turkey (primarily TUDOKSAD - Turkish Foundrymen's Association members) will be showcasing their products at TURKCAST 2012. The exhibition will act as an exchange platform for producers and buyers.
