To meet the demand for larger dry ice slices on the international dry ice market, ASCO announces the launch of the "Dry Ice Machine BP425i". The technology is based on the "Dry Ice Machine BP420i" which has been successful for many years and will remain in the ASCO portfolio. The new and more powerful "Dry Ice Machine BP425i" can produce dry ice slices up to 125 mm / 4.9 in thickness (weight per slice: 5 kg / 11 lb) and optionally two different pellet sizes.

The automatic "ASCO Dry Ice Machine BP425i" produces 10 different slice thicknesses and 2 different pellet sizes at the touch of a button. From now on dry ice blocks of up to 5 kg / 11 lb can be produced (dimensions in mm: 210 x 125 x 125 / 8.3 x 4.9 x 4.9 in). ASCO decided to expand its dry ice technology due to the increased market demand for larger dry ice blocks.

All tools and extruder plates for the production of the different dry ice slices/blocks as well as for the optionally available dry ice pellets (up to 2 sizes, optionally 3, 6, 10 or 16 mm / 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 or 5/8 ") are integrated in the machine and can be controlled automatically via touch screen.

The automatic "ASCO Dry Ice Machine BP425i" is part of the new i-Series generation and is equipped with the latest remote maintenance technology. This gives the customer a wide range of possibilities in the areas of remote access, remote data and remote management. Whether for fast and efficient problem solving and machine maintenance or for recording production and performance data - the ASCO i-Series offers a range of possibilities to combine Industry 4.0 and dry ice production. The conversion rate of the dry ice machine can be greatly increased by using an ASCO CO2 Recovery System.

Marco Pellegrino, Managing Director of ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD explains: "The new Dry Ice Machine BP425i completes our wide range and covers the market demand for larger dry ice slices/blocks. The combination of production of dry ice pellets and slices/blocks in one machine is still appreciated by our customers and in great demand. Supplemented with the latest IOT functions, we are pleased to present a future-proof dry ice machine".
