Asia Foundry Forum 2010

With the theme of Asia Foundry: Strengthening Cooperation and Seeking Common development”, the first Asia Foundry Forum was held on the 10^th May,2010 in Beijing International Convention Center. Around 150 people from 14 countries attended this event. Mr.Zhang Libo, Executive Vice Chairman & Secretary General of China Foundry Association hosted the forum and Mr.Jia Chengbing, Chairman of China Foundry Association delivered the opening remarks.

The Asia Foundry Forum was aimed at improving technology, management level and enhancing metalcasting productivity and quality as well as strengthening information exchanges and business cooperation. Under the global background of the rapid development of global economic integration and the increasingly strong regional cooperation, Asia foundry industry has been developing very fast and the annual casting production has covered over 50% of world casting production.

During the one day forum, scholars, experts, foundrymen and entrepreneurs from different countries and regions actively exchanged ideas and developed deep discussions on how to win opportunities, seize development chances and achieve environmental friendly sustainable development under the changing global economic situation. Around 10 valuable lectures about the regional foundry industry development and new techniques.
