Bradken’s Energy Business is pleased to announce that a significant project is underway for a $23.0 million expansion to our Tacoma, WA Foundry. The expansion will include a dual Energy Linear Accelerator that will double the radiographic capacity and will be located in a new 15,000 Sq Ft finishing bay dedicated to the upgrade and inspection of large castings. In addition a new 30,000 Sq Ft foundry bay will triple the large casting pouring capability while freeing up capacity for small to medium sized castings. The expansion will allow the Tacoma plant to meet the increased demand for high quality castings both with and without radiographic requirements.
