Tycon Alloys based in Shenzhen are leading producers of high grade steel valves and pumps. They are one of Omega's first customers in China having purchased their first mixer back in 1997. Since then the foundry has continued to expand and due to the current restrictive site has decided to move to a new location approximately 200km from their existing location.
The new foundry will be a state of the art building and will encompass the latest environmental and 'green' technology including a thermal reclamation plant for alkaline phenolic which is believed to be the first installation on this process in China.
There will also be a semi-automatic fast loop moulding, automated pouring and cooling lines, and a floor moulding area.
Mark Fenyes can been seen in the picture at the signing ceremony along with the board of directors of the holding company.
The foundry is expected to come into production by the end of this year.
