To face the awarded contracts for 2012, since February a daily double shift has been introduced for FOUNDRY AUTOMATION core shooters and robot operated core centers. Most of the installations are dedicated for automotive and earth-moving sectors, railways and hydraulics and will be delivered during second half of current year. FOUNDRY AUTOMATION core shooters for these applications have shooting volume from 60 up to 180 liters and are complete with automatic change of core-box, robot operated assembly units to achieve complete engine blocks and cylinder heads. All core centers will be also tested in IMF workshops before commissioning to customer sites. The new core cells will be installed all over world to the most important iron and aluminium foundry groups. Thanks to the joining to IMF Group, FOUNDRY AUTOMATION has reconfirmed its strong position in the coremaking field. IMF Group, with nearly 450 direct employees and 4 production facilities in Italy, China, Czech Republic and Brasil, is global partner for foundries, including IMF FOUNDRY EQUIPMENT DIVISION for no-bake lines and sand regeneration systems and CARLO BANFI shotblasting division.
