RWTH Aachen Rector Ernst Schmachtenberg welcomed a delegation from India to the Aachen university. At the invitation of the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD for short, representatives from Indian universities in Bangalore, Mumbai, New Dehli, Pune, and Mande visited the Federal Republic of Germany. After a welcome at the DAAD in Bonn, the program included visits to the universities in Aachen, Munich, Hannover, and Göttingen, as wel as the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Berlin. The goal of the visit, in which a representative of the Indian General Consulate in Frankfurt also participate, was to familiarize the guests with the German research landscape and strengthen collaborative relationships.
