Elkem Foundry Products, a leading producer and supplier of high-performance inoculants and nodulizers for gray and ductile iron, will receive three awards from the American Foundry Society at the Society’s CastExpo and Metalcasting Congress in St. Louis on April 6-9, 2013.
At a luncheon on April 7, the American Foundry Society’s Cast Iron Division’s will present Elkem with its Group Service Award that recognizes Elkem for their work for the Division and the Society. Kevin McMahon, Elkem’s Field Account Manager, will accept the award.
At the same luncheon, the Cast Iron Division’ will present its Outstanding Individual Service Award, to Mike Riabov, Elkem’s new Field Account Manager. The award recognizes Mr. Riabov’s many years of dedication to the Cast Iron Division while working for Neenah Foundry and now Elkem.
On April 9, the American Foundry Society will present its Award of Scientific Merit to Doug White, Elkem’s Technical Service Manager, “for his contributions to the industry through practical research and sharing this information to further the knowledge of the cast iron industry.”
Elkem has a technical-sales organization in the United States, Canada, and throughout the world as well as a customer research-and-development team in Norway that specializes in providing technical assistance and support to its foundry customers. As part of that effort, Elkem enthusiastically supports the American Foundry Society and its technical program.
