EuroMold BRASIL offers access to a booming market

According to the exhibition organiser DEMAT GmbH the Brazilian market offers enormous opportunities for tool and mold makers and companies from the entire product development. For this rapidly growing industry segment, an increase of 17 percent is expected for 2011.

Currently, the Brazilian moldmaking and tooling companies produce to 98 percent for the domestic market. At the same time the enormously growing automobile industry creates a strong demand for products from the mold and die sector and the entire product development.

With the location Joinville EuroMold BRASIL takes place in the heart of the Brazilian moldmaking and tooling industry. 400 of the 2000 Brazilian's moldmaking companies are located here. In average these companies are more than 15 years in the market and at a size of less than 50 employees.

Even for suppliers the Brazilian tool and mold makers offer large sales opportunities. First, the companies have a high demand for innovation. And secondly, the age of the tool and mold making equipment indicates a need for innovation. According to a study by Industrial Plastico about a quarter of the machines are ten to 19 years old, 6.7 per cent of the machines are thus even older than 20 years.

The automotive industry is the most important customer for molds in Brazil, followed by the packaging and the electrical industry. According to the study a large proportion of the demand is for plastic molds production. Here, about half of these molds are for injection, followed by blow molding, thermoset and thermoforming.

and announce EuroMold BRASIL 2012 Range of exhibition extended to five continents

With its new exhibition „EuroMold BRASIL“, August 20 – 24, 2012 in Joinville / Brazil, DEMAT GmbH extends its range of exhibitions to five continents. DEMAT has set up a joint venture with "Messe Brasil" for the realisation of EuroMold BRASIL – Fair of Mold Manufacturers, Tools and Design, scheduled to debut in Brazil in 2012.

DEMAT’s largest event EuroMold is the world leading fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development. EuroMold 2011 will comprise about 1,500 exhibitos and 60,000 trade visitors from 90 countries. With “EuroMold BRASIL” DEMAT exports the successful trade fair concept “From Idea to Series Production” to South America, too.

DEMAT GmbH is one of the most renowed exhibition organisers in Germany and has already transfers its successful fair concept to attractive international markets. For the fifth time already AsiaMold will be held in Guangzhou, China in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt. After a successful premiere AmeriMold (Rosemont / Chicago, USA) will take place as well as AfriMold (Johannesburg / South Africa) in 2011 again.
