On 12 July 2011, Fill Machine Engineering and ifm consulting signed a cooperation agreement. As a result, the user community for the productivity software package "efficiency control cockpit" (ECC) has grown considerably and, in addition to the company's production systems, Fill can also offer integrated condition monitoring. "With ifm consulting, we have gained a proven specialist in maintenance consulting and engineering as a partner.  It will now be even easier for our customers to fully exploit the performance capability of their systems," according to Fill's joint CEOs, Andreas Fill and Wolfgang Rathner.

Gurten, 2 August 2011 - Fill Machine Engineering has been an international leader in custom-specific production systems and machines for many years now.

ifm consulting, a subsidiary of ifm electronic GmbH, supplies maintenance consulting and engineering extending from "the sensor all the way to SAP". In July 2011, the two successful companies secured a cooperation agreement. Within the framework of this collaboration, ifm consulting will market the ECC software developed by Fill under the name "OEEpro", a package that has already prompted very positive feedback from customers at the GIFA international foundry trade fair (28 June to 2 July 2011). As a result, ifm's portfolio in the field of maintenance and condition monitoring has been expanded to include production optimization.

Major contract as welcoming gift

With the signing of the cooperation agreement on 12 July 2011, previous and existing joint activities were given an official framework. Both companies were very pleased with the special "welcoming gift" presented to them in the form of a major contract from a renowned German car and commercial vehicle manufacturer. In this project, the full range of services from condition monitoring through to production optimization will be employed. "Our product portfolios complement one another very well. ifm is a capable partner in the field of solutions for condition monitoring. This total solution delivers decisive benefits for our customers from both an economic and a technological perspective," declares Wolfgang Rathner.
