Cutting-Edge Manufacturing for Maximum Precision
A look inside the Schüle production facility in Schwäbisch Gmünd reveals a hallmark of the company’s identity: a high level of automation. High-precision aluminum die-cast parts are manufactured using state-of-the-art machines, systems, and robots – all operated by skilled Schüle employees.
“We invested heavily in automation early on – and it’s paying off,” says CEO Klaus Bruchner. In a highly competitive global market with minimal error tolerance, Schüle is recognized as a technology and quality leader
Diversified in Four – Soon Five – Strategic Business Units
Schüle currently supplies die-cast parts for the business areas Mobility, Industry, Facility, and Medicine. Starting in April 2025, the portfolio will expand with a fifth business unit: Lifestyle. The goal is to enter new applications, industries, and customer segments.
“We’re active wherever die casting and quality go hand in hand,” explains CTO Sebastian Bechtle.
The automotive sector remains the company’s largest revenue driver, contributing roughly three-quarters of total sales. Customers include leading manufacturers and suppliers such as ZF, Bosch, AMG, Hella, Hanon, Klingel, Brose, Magna, and Festo. Schüle components are used by virtually all well-known OEMs.
The company is actively responding to industry transformation – especially the shift to electromobility. “We’re no longer dependent on combustion engines,” says Bechtle. While about half of Schüle’s automotive business still involves combustion-based vehicles, the company has successfully positioned itself in e-mobility and hybrid systems.
“Hybrid is just a transitional step. The future lies in electrified drive systems,” Bruchner emphasize
