hofmann CERAMIC attended this year's International Foundry Trade Fair (GIFA) from 28.6. to 2.7.2011 in Düsseldorf. Visitors to the spacious trade fair stand were able to obtain an impression of the product range and the capabilities of the company. A particular highlight of the trade fair this year was the launch of the new book "Gating and Filter Technology for Foundries - New Theories Based on Previous Research Findings" by Thorsten Reuther. Also presented were the new round-hole filters for steel and large-scale casting.
hofmann CERAMIC was extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised at how well the fair went: The new book sold like hot cakes and the theories on filtration of metal melts met with a lot approval. The new steel filters provoked a great deal of interest from the visitors, which could result in the many fresh contacts becoming future large scale casting customers all over the world.
The trade fair was a big success for hofmann CERAMIC. Our stand attracted a continuous stream of people - even overflowing from time to time, so that it was not always possible to speak with all the interested visitors and customers. The company was able to notch up a visitor record this year and was extremely satisfied with the resulting positive discussions. The great response and lively interest made it clear that the ceramics experts in large-scale casting, including fields such as wind energy, are now in a leading position and the company's professional experience in this area is highly prized all over the world.
The company wishes to retain and build upon its cutting edge status. hofmann CERAMIC is looking forward to the taking part in GIFA in 2015, where it hopes to generate further great interest.
