HA draws positive GIFA balance

The HA Group draws a very positive balance after GIFA 2019: "Our sales

colleagues from all over the world have reported a high density of quality

discussions and customer contacts," says Amine Serghini, Head of Global Sales

and Marketing. "All these conversations are an inspiration and a challenge for us

and we will do everything we can to deliver on our promises.”

The fact that GIFA only takes place every four years makes it an event that is feverishly prepared in advance and experienced by all participants as a special highlight during the five days of the fair. Anyone who observed the atmosphere at the HA stand attentively got an impression of it: HA is not about fast business, but about sustainable, partnership-based cooperation with its customers. The numerous visitors to the HA stand can certainly confirm this.

Many German and international customers know HA well as a world market leader for foundry-chemical products. One of the key messages at the fair: HA's diverse product range is only one side of the coin. The pronounced service orientation and the intensive cooperation with customers and partners are at least as important when it comes to fundamentally improving foundry processes.

For example, three inventive, patent-pending ideas were presented that HA developed in its Center of Competence in cooperation with the tool manufacturer Lahnwerk: two innovative core shooting nozzles that protect the core tool from wear or prevent the curing of mould material inside the nozzle, as well as a novel concept for the application of parting agents in a closed core box. All three ideas were met with great interest by the visitors and will make a name for themselves in the future.

HA demonstrated a path towards digitization with the "Virtual Core Shooting Process", a cooperation project with its partners Magma and Laempe: "By linking the moulding material properties with data from the core shooting machine and the current tool status, we can simulate the entire core production process," explains A. Serghini. "The virtual core shooting machine can automatically adjust the process parameters to ensure consistent and reliable core quality."

An important point for HA was also the participation in the ecoMetals campaign of Messe Düsseldorf, which has dedicated itself to the topics of sustainability, resource conservation and energy efficiency. As part of guided tours, two groups visited the HA stand every day to find out about environmentally friendly products and innovations. HA is also particularly dedicated to the "Metals4you" initiative to promote young talents: Employees of the technical service team had prepared an exciting program. About 50 students per day visited the HA booth and got a practical insight into our industry.

HA had a special highlight in store for its guests from faraway countries: Around 80 visitors from the USA, China, Japan, Russia and Italy took advantage of a bus tour to the HA Center of Competence in Baddeckenstedt as well as to the production and research site in Hannover. The participants were very impressed by the possibilities and the innovative power that can be seen at these two HA locations.

The "Solutions Inside" product world was also very well received. Here, visitors were invited in a playful way to an informative miniature world, where they experienced the variety and technical possibilities of HA solutions and services. The contents of this model world can also be explored virtually after GIFA at: <link http: solutions-inside.ha-group.com external-link-new-window internal link in current>
