HB Protective Wear is now offering reusable protective masks.
“In order to assist people in a sensible and targeted manner in view of the current supply shortages, we have adapted to the changed situation and developed a protective mask within a few days,” explains Klaus Berthold, owner of HB Protective Wear.
Demand currently still exceeds the production capacities realised at short notice, but preparations for expanding production have already been completed, enabling even greater demand to be met within the next 14 days.
The new protective mask is made from high-quality cleanroom fabric and is available in two versions: with ties at the sides or with an elastic band at the side.
Production takes place at HB’s headquarters in Germany and at two long-standing HB partner companies in Eastern Europe.
The HB protective mask protects against dust and light splashes of liquid. Another advantage is that the wearer of such a mask does not touch their own mouth and nose area. The HB protective mask is thus making an important contribution to preventing virus transmission.
“For us, the cleanroom sector is one of our traditional product segments, which is why our product range has included coats, hoods and overalls for use in a wide range of applications for many years,” adds Sales Director Sven Holst. “Like the new protective mask, these are not medical or PPE products, which is why they are not certified.”
The reusable protective mask can be washed at 60 degrees. It will be available again from 1 April and can be ordered from a minimum order quantity of 300 pieces (30 packaged units containing 10 pieces each).
Please note: This mask is no medical product and no personal protective equipment (PPE). The mask is designed for private use, and it is particularly not intended for the use as PPE or mouth protection against infections or other harmful substances or for the use in the public health sector or as safety protection at work.
