IIF Nagpur Chapter installs new body

THE Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) Nagpur Chapter organised the annual chapter meeting recently. In the meeting, members elected the new body members. R G Paranjpe was elected as the new Chairman for the term 2018-19. Furthermore, the newly elected office bearers were Saurabh Mohta, Vice-Chairman, Gautam Roy, Secretary, Hardik Doshi, Treasurer and Gautam Khosla, Joint Secretary. Whereas the newly elected council members were Mahesh Kumar, Taha Fidvi, Vishal Bhagat, Mankar and Sunil Chokse. The programme started with the farewell speech given by Anuja Sharma, Immediate Past Chairperson of IIF Nagpur Chapter in which she recognised the work and support of all office bearers and council members.

R G Paranjpe the newly elected Chairman welcomed the new team of IIF Nagpur Chapter. Gautam Roy proposed the formal vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by Saurabh Mohta. The Institute of Indian Foundrymen was set up in 1950 to promote education, research, training and development to Indian foundrymen and to serve as a nodal point of reference between the customers and suppliers of the Indian foundry industry on a global scale.With its head quarter in Kolkata, IIF presently services the entire country through its 26 chapters under four regional offices located at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. The institute is a member of the World Foundrymen Organisation (WFO) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
