I have often asked myself what makes the International Foundry Congress in Portorož so attractive. Is it the beautiful location on the Slovenian Adriatic, the meetings the evening before in Piran, the informal atmosphere, the interesting lectures, the foundry evening or perhaps everything together? Of course, it's all in the mix!
That's why this year I will once again accept the invitation of the committed and well-connected head of the Slovenian Foundry Association, M. Sc. Dpl. Eng.Mirjam Jan-Blazic, to travel to Slovenia.
We are looking forward to September 2024 with great hopes and expectations and are looking forward to meeting international foundry experts from neighboring countries again. The traditional event will once again take place in Portoroz from September 18 to 20, 2024 and will offer the best opportunities for exchanging information and networking. Especially in tense times, we should use all opportunities to support the industry to the best of our ability and thus also make it visible. This year's conference motto is: Education - Competition - Environment
