It is reported that Japanese magnesium buyers, including light metal re rollers and die casting makers, restarted the purchase for the first time in 6 months. However, the buyers minimize the purchase while they changed the purchase from quarterly base to spot base. Chinese offer is USD 2,630 to USD 2,600 per tonne CNF to Japan, which is around USD 250 or 10% lower than the level in 3 months earlier due to demand slump.
