Reading time: min

Japan Metal Bulletin reported that Japanese secondary alloyed aluminum makers are apparently concluding after transaction price negotiation with the users for January shipment to increase by JPY 20 per kilogram to JPY 25 per kilogram under higher scrap market.

The price increases to more than JPY 200 and reaches JPY 215 to JPY 220 for AUD 12.1 grade in small lot transaction. The price could increase more when Japanese alloy makers try to realize more than JPY 230 for February shipment under tight supply.
