The cooperation combines Koide's expertise in the production of high-quality die casting dies in Japan and India with the international reach of Schaufler Fischer Group.
The aim is to offer customers worldwide comprehensive technical support and excellent solutions.
Under the agreement, Koide will provide support for Schaufler mega/giga dies in Japan, while Schaufler will support Koide customers in European and North American markets.
President Daigo Koide emphasized the opportunity to promote growth and development through the partnership, while Siegfried Heinrich, CEO of Schaufler Fischer Group, highlighted the shared vision for innovation and customer value.
In the current development of so-called giga/megacastings, Heinrich observes the typical signs of a hype cycle, transitioning through various phases from innovation to the productivity plateau. While China is booming in this field, Europe is still catching up hesitantly. However, there are already strong examples of successful implementation in both Western and Eastern Europe similar to North Amerika.
