INACORE, the joint venture in Ergoldsbach between Laempe and R. Scheuchl GmbH, has won the Lower Bavarian Founders Award (“Niederbayerischer Gründerpreis”) 2020/2021 in the "Start-up" category. The award ceremony took place at the Landshut Conference Center of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe Bayern. INACORE manufactures inorganic sand cores for the foundry industry using state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly processes. This highly efficient value-added process particularly impressed the jury.

The “Niederbayerische Gründerpreis”, which in addition to savings banks also has the media partners "Stern" and "ZDF" as well as the automobile manufacturer “Porsche” on board as partners, has been awarded for many years for outstanding success in setting up companies. The Award is the highest award for founders and entrepreneurs in Lower Bavaria and is intended to promote commitment to entrepreneurship.

"We are very happy about the award which shows that we can be very satisfied with the development of INACORE. The company has become one of the innovation leaders in additive manufacturing, the operator model and Industry 4.0 just a few years after its foundation. This means we are well on the way to achieving our ultimate goal, which is to fully exploit the possibilities of digitalization in our industry," explains Andreas Mössner, Managing Director of Laempe Mössner Sinto GmbH.

INACORE GmbH was founded in 2017 as a joint venture of the internationally leading companies in foundry technology, Laempe Mössner Sinto GmbH and R. Scheuchl GmbH. Its customers include BMW's light metal foundry in Landshut. In his speech, laudator Ludwig Fuller, member of the board of Sparkasse Passau, emphasized the passion of the founders, Andreas Mössner, Dr. Udo Dinglreiter and Ulf Scheuchl, which turned a good idea into success.

"INACORE has had strong ties to the region from the very beginning, so this award is particularly prestigious. The award is a form of confirmation of the work done so far, but also a motivation for future milestones that we want to achieve with INACORE. At the same time, the award also shows what is possible among partners when you pursue the same goal," explains Dr. Udo Dinglreiter, Managing Director of R. Scheuchl GmbH.

The “Niederbayerische Gründerpreis” is awarded annually in various categories. The total of nine award winners were honored in the "Start-up" or "Up-and-Coming" categories, among others. This recognizes entrepreneurial achievements in different phases of the company's life -
from a student's business game to a life's work. The aim of the initiative is to make successful founders and their companies visible.
