Laempe & Mössner have become supplier of the year for the first time

The specialist for core shooters was nominated and decorated with the desired prize by Nemak. Further deliveries for the world wide active foundry are imminent.

Meitzendorf / Schopfheim, 17th January 2012. The Laempe & Mössner GmbH, worldwide leader and supplier of core Shooters / foundry equipment has been nominated the best supplier 2011 by the car parts supplier Nemak. The world wide active foundry with headquarters in the Mexican town of Monterrey  awarded the prize for the best supplier in the category foundry equipment to Laempe & Mössner for the delivery of 7 core shooters for the production of cylinder heads for the car manufacturer General Motors (GM).

"We are very proud of being awarded the prize for the first time with competition of more than 100 suppliers. Nemak stands for quality and short delivery time.

The award is an incentive for the future", said Rudolf Wintgens the Technical Director of Laempe & Mössner, who with Andreas Mössner (Head of Business Development) received the award from Nemak CEO Armando Tamez and Nemak Director Napoleón Cantú. Nemak is one of the world's largest cylinder head manufacturers with 15000 employees at 27 facilities.

Laempe & Mössner have supplied the foundry company over many years. "The delivery of more machines is imminent. Many thanks go out to the employees who have designed and built the machines to the highest quality in Schopfheim and Meitzendorf", resumed Wintgens.
