Reading time: min

Laempe Mössner Sinto actively participated in the kick-off event of the new Young Professional Program initiated by the VDG (German Foundrymen Association) and the BDG (German Federation of German Foundry Industries). As part of the "Ideas Expo", which took place in different cities with the participation of VDG and BDG from 10 to 18 June 2017, the participants were invited to visit selected companies.

On 15 June, the delegation met at the headquarters of Laempe Mössner Sinto in Meitzendorf (Saxony-Anhalt). Frank Arlt, technical director at Laempe Mössner Sinto, presented the company to around 25 participants and showed the development areas of the family business. Key points were the investments at the Schopfheim and Meitzendorf locations as well as other important strategic decisions with regard to the topics "Innovations" and "Digitization / Industry 4.0". Afterwards, the participants were able to take a closer look at the production in a small group tour.

The meeting was completed with a joint barbecue event in front of the production hall in the best weather. "We highly appreciate the initiative of the associations because the Young Professionals Program is an important step for global exchange and the formation of networks and contacts. Within the context of "Ideas Expo", we were able to introduce ourselves to the specialist audience as a competent supplier and explain how we build our machines and plants. Furthermore, we were able to demonstrate how we, as a medium-sized company, are reacting to the future challenges in machine and plant construction," said Frank Arlt, technical director of Laempe Mössner Sinto.
