Luitpoldhütte GmbH plans to use the LHN 100-350 to manufacture large cores for agriculture, specifically gearbox and rear axle housings weighing up to 800 kilograms. For this task, a core shooting machine is required that can produce large cores up to 500 kilograms in a single shot. In September 2023, Luitpoldhütte placed the order for the custom-designed LHN 100-350. This machine was modified to increase the shot volume from 100 liters to 350 liters, making it the largest core shooting machine of its kind in Europe. Luitpoldhütte's clients include renowned companies such as Case New Holland, Fendt, Valtra, Massey Ferguson, John Deere, Claas, MAN, Liebherr, and Caterpillar.
Tailor-made solution for the customer – Setting new industry standards
“With the design of the LHN 100-350, we are setting new benchmarks in the industry and once again demonstrating our ability to develop custom solutions tailored to our customers' specific needs," said André Klimm, Managing Director of Laempe Mössner Sinto. “The collaboration with Luitpoldhütte has been a great challenge, which we have successfully tackled together.”
The installation includes a mixer, two gas systems, a sand classifier, and two control cabinets – one for the machine itself and one for the peripheral equipment. The requirements of Luitpoldhütte made this project a prototypical challenge. Particularly exciting was the adaptation to the local conditions in Amberg, where Luitpoldhütte provided a platform, sand silo, and core box, as well as prepared the foundation and a roof extension for the more than 14-meter-high machine complex.
“The new LHN 100-350 from Laempe Mössner Sinto represents a significant advancement for our production. With this state-of-the-art system, we are able to significantly increase our production capacity while continuing to deliver the highest quality products to our customers," said Frank Schild, Managing Director of Luitpoldhütte GmbH. “The collaboration with Laempe has always been professional and goal-oriented.”
