GF AgieCharmilles, a division of Georg Fischer, has won a CHF 12 million order to supply a large number of electric discharge and high speed milling machines.
The new order came from a leading Asian smart device manufacturer. Delivery will be staged over the next few months. The approximately 25 units will be produced in Losone and Nidau (Switzerland). All types are high precision machines dedicated to the production of precise molds and miniature parts in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) with full automation system.
GF AgieCharmilles provides machines, system solutions, and customer services for the machining of molds, dies, and high-quality metal parts. The division manufactures in Switzerland, Sweden and China, and has its own sales companies to serve customers locally in more than 50 countries.
