Find the Right Quality Tools at CastExpo Workshop

Any good master mechanic has many options in his tool box. He invests in the best tools, keeps them in ready, working condition and has a wide range for any situation. He knows how to use each of them and always applies the right one for the job. What is in your quality tool box? Spend time with a quality casting mechanic at the CastExpo workshop: Quality Tools: Misused, Abused and Too Little Used Tools.

Held Friday, March 19 and led by Ted Schorn, a foundry quality system expert with 27 years of experience in solving problems in the automotive, medical and aerospace fields and 24 years in foundry settings, this workshop will discuss common and not so common tools that can help solve casting quality issues, including separating the most common source of casting defects from the rare cause. Also covered will be common mistakes in tool use, and new tips on frequently occurring casting problems. Regardless of how basic or sophisticated your facility's quality system is, you will benefit from this workshop.

Ticket purchase is required for this special session, which will be held in a classroom away from the show floor. For more information or to register, visit <link http: www.castexpo.com _blank external-link-new-window>www.castexpo.com.
