After four successful editions of Metalriciclo-Recomat, the exhibition dedicated to technologies for the recycling of metals and industrial materials, the event takes a leap and moves to Veronafiere, one of the most prestigious exhibition centres in Europe. The exhibition will take place from 18 to 21 April 2012 simultaneously with Metef-Foundeq, the already classic International Metals Expo.
The customary broad range of opportunities available at Metef-Foundeq will be complemented by the complex and articulated chain for the collection, treatment and recovery of ferrous and non ferrous metals, as well as plastics, glass, rubber, paper and inert materials. Together, the two events will occupy a net exhibition area of 20,000 m2, with over 600 exhibitors and 18,000 visitors expected. The result is a unique event in terms of its completeness and representation of the supply chain of the metallurgical sector in particular.
This strategic decision will enable Metalriciclo-Recomat to consolidate its role as a key event for those companies specialized in technologies and services for industrial recycling. It will also promote the development of its international footprint thanks to synergies generated with Metef-Foundeq and Veronafiere. The new setting is certainly favoured by the availability of space and services of Veronafiere, the first direct organizer of B2B events in Italy and among the largest in Europe with 350,000 m2 subdivided into 12 pavilions, 12,000 parking spaces, a conference centre with 8 rooms ranging from 20 to 600 seats, direct flights throughout Europe and a network of representatives in 22 countries.
Metalriciclo-Recomat 2012, as the sole specialized and vertical event dedicated to the recycling industry in Italy, has always been a unique opportunity to meet traders, users of recycled material, producers of secondary materials, consultants and analysts, to be in direct contact with the situation of the global scrap market and be updated on its delicate and complex regulatory system. It is also an excellent opportunity to see the best technologies and innovation for the collection, sorting and recycling of all scrap materials.
As is tradition, there is a rich and complete programme of parallel events dedicated to the hottest topics for the strategic recycling sector, organized in collaboration with leading national and international associations of the recycling industry. Among the aforementioned events, Metalriciclo-Recomat launches the second edition of the Premio Progettazione Industriale, (Industrial Design Award) for products designed and manufactured with recovered materials. This initiative aims to contribute, even if in a small way, to a much needed recycling culture.
