Mr Miller appointed as CEO Of ArcelorMittal Mines Canada

ArcelorMittal announced on March 8 the appointment of Mr Serge Miller as president & CEO of ArcelorMittal Mines Canada. Prior to this appointment, Mr Miller was COO.

Mr Miller holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from the University of Sherbrooke. He joined ArcelorMittal Mines Canada in 1977 (then Québec Cartier Mining) as an engineer in training. He subsequently held various positions of increasing responsibility until his appointment as General Manager, Port and Pellet Plant in 2003. In January 2008 he was promoted to VP, Pellet Plants, Ports and Railways, and in July 2008, he was appointed VP Operations, overseeing all company operations including the Pellet Plant, Port, Railway and Mine. Since February 2009, he has headed ArcelorMittal Mines Canada's executive team as VP and COO.

Mr Miller is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (Québec Order of Engineers) and of the Board of the Directors of the Mining Association of Canada and of the Québec Mining Association.

become an outstanding President and Chief Executive Officer.”
