The new office and administrative building of Laempe Mössner Sinto, one of the world's leading companies in core-making technology, has been completed in Meitzendorf (Saxony-Anhalt). In the course of the official opening ceremony with around 250 employees, the IT, Human Resources, Technical Documentation and Automation departments officially took up their new offices on the two upper floors on April 6, 2017, while the new generous rooms of the training workshop are now located on the ground floor. With the new training facilities, Laempe Mössner Sinto significantly enhances the training capacities at its headquarters in Meitzendorf.

The vocational education and training in four technical professions at Laempe Mössner Sinto is highly practice-oriented and the 23 trainees, who will be employed at Laempe Mössner Sinto in Meitzendorf in 2017, will now find even better conditions: the training workshop has been equipped with new workbenches as well as modernized new work places for the basic training of metal processing and electronics. In addition, a new lathe and milling machine is planned. At around 10%, the training rate at Laempe's main location in Meitzendorf is once again clearly above the branch average, which is stated by the association VDMA at 6.5 percent for 2016. The new workshop is also to serve to convince students of attractive training possibilities during practical classes.

Laempe Mössner Sinto is on a further growth path and is now able to locate departments in the new office building, which were previously distributed over several occupied premises and further from the production process – The management and employees are looking forward to an increase in efficiency and the more attractive working environment.

"Since the laying of the foundation stone in the presence of Prime Minister Haseloff in March 2016, about one year has passed and we are very happy with the result", explains Laempe's managing director Andreas Mössner. "As a family business, we are deeply rooted in the regions in which we are present - and we have been particularly fond of Meitzendorf for 20 years." The mayor of the municipality of Barleben and the town of Meitzendorf, Franz-Ulrich Keindorff and Bernhard Niebuhr, acknowledged the clear commitment to the production site. A total of more than half a million euros were newly invested from own funds.

In the Baden-Württemberg region of Schopfheim, where around 80 Laempe employees are employed in research, development and sales, a modern, new office building and a new technology center are also being built.
