“The participants can look forward to an interesting programme of ten presentations. The International Die Casting Congress is a good opportunity for us all to also discuss current developments in the industry with colleagues and experts in the years when the EUROGUSS exhibition does not take place,” says Gerhard Eder, Chairman of the Verband Deutscher Druckgießereien VDD. The topics on 23February include: “Recycled aluminium – a major contribution to metal supply”, “Structural components – a fascinating growth opportunity”, “Composite metal casting structures – materials, connections and interactions”, and “Advantages of hybrid die cast and injection moulded components”. There will also be an exhibition by the component supply industry in the foyer of the lecture hall. The International Die Casting Congress gets underway with the “Gießerabend”, when the organizers invite the die casters to an evening get-together on 22February 2011, the day before the event.

The complete programme for the International Die Casting Congress is available on the Internet at www.euroguss.de.

The next EUROGUSS, the International Trade Fair for Die Casting, takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 17–19 January 2012.
