Further to the 2 existing melting furnace plants with a capacity of 4,000 kg each, Messrs. Odlewnia Żeliwa Simiński-Ordon (www.odlewy.com) have placed an order with Messrs. Otto Junker GmbH for delivery of two additional melting furnace plants with a capacity of 6,000 kg each and a rated power input of 4,000 kW each, in the economical DUOCONTROL version for melting different cast iron qualities.
In addition to a state-of-the-art IGBT converter for a consistently high cos-phi, the delivery also includes a water recooling system with air / water coolers based on the proven glycol-free principle. In order to facilitate skimming, the furnaces are equipped with a backward tilting unit.
The complete melting process is realized via the new JOKS 4.0 "Touch" operating concept. Commissioning of the furnace plant is scheduled for spring 2019.
