Leinfelden-Echterdingen,- Creaform, a global leader in portable and automated metrology solutions, and QFP, one of Italy's leading metrology companies, have announced a strategic partnership to further expand the range of automated quality control solutions for the European manufacturing industry.

QFP, one of the most important European companies active in metrology, reverse engineering and related design, carries out its activities from its offices in Padua and Spoleto in Italy and offers its know-how to customers throughout Europe.

The agreement signed between Creaform and QFP defines QFP as Creaform's "strategic partner" for automation activities in Europe. This brings added value for customers of both companies as it expands the range of automated QFP systems and makes this technology available to even more Creaform customers in Europe.

Cube-R & QBOX EVOLUTION:
Starting from Creaform's solutions for automated quality control applications, the R-Series™ 3D scanning solutions, QFP can adapt this standard product for customer-specific applications. The QBOX EVOLUTION was developed to meet the specific needs of customers. Layout changes, additional axes and the addition of contour elements such as automatic supports, integration into production lines, additional control cameras, automatic loading/unloading systems and much more complete the offer. Dozens of automated QFP installations on the market prove that listening to customer needs is important. They are the starting point for creating a tailor-made solution.

"The satisfaction of our customers is the engine that drives us to constantly invest energy and resources to perfect our know-how," comments Roberto Mazzetto, Sales and Marketing Director of QFP. “In particular, our expertise as an integrator and solution provider sets us apart from other companies in the industry. Sharing these benefits with a company like Creaform, which is focused on the same values, is what we have been looking for to help our customers and partners grow in a healthy and structured way.”

Stefan Hoheisel, Director Global Business Development at Creaform, adds: “The collaboration with QFP takes Creaform's already strong range of 3D measurement tools, our skills and experience to the next level. The resulting combination of standard and customized automation solutions is a highly professional and complete product offering for the entire manufacturing industry.”

About QFP
QFP is one of the most important European companies active in the sale of metrology, reverse and related design services, carried out in its laboratories in Padua and Spoleto in Italy, but also in the offices of its customers.
